This is my second night in a student hostel in San Francisco. I had no idea this city was such a tourist attraction for young Europeans, ready to get their drink on, ride the trolleys about, and share a living space with my creative self.* They are actually a pretty good looking bunch, ruggedly handsome in that, "I smell of the old world and taste like a crusty bread that will tear your mouth" kind of way.
Tomorrow is my first day of work. 2.5 months after graduating from college, I shall attempt to become a fully functional independent contributing member of society. I figure a still have a couple solid weeks before I have to return my mother's credit card to her.
I hope those Europeans aren't stealing anything out my luggage.
You may now begin to ask yourself why I am in a student hostel with my first day of grown up life starting tomorrow? Excellent question early blooming ginger flower. I can't move into my apartment for a couple more days, so I'm living in a dorm style room with bunk beds. How it is cold in there...the frigid air bites my nose as I lull myself into a fitful slumber... silly candyface.
