I'm pretty sure some people should just not smile. Their faces are perfectly nice looking right up until they have that full blown, full face smile, and that is when you think, no. No no no. No more jokes for you because I cannot handle all of your teeth or your cheeks pulled back or the harsh laugh lines around your mouth.

Whereas other people, when they smile, it's like you're suddenly in a musical and the birds are singing in time with the carpenter pounding nails and the baker rolling bread. Their ordinarily dull faces, or perfectly pleasant face, transforms for a few brief moments and you can't help but stare at them hoping for that next brief shining moment.

So the moral of the story is, when it comes to smiling...there is no moral, it's a crapshoot.
