Culinary Thoughts

I've tried making dinner for myself, but I find the meals that I make myself are utterly disgusting. It seems perfectly fine while I'm eating it, but by the end, I'm completely repulsed. This may be a product of only owning 2 seasonings, salt and artificial sugar, or from occasionally using expired dairy products, but I think it has more to do with the fact that I prepared the food with my own hands and the sweat from my own brow. On the other hand, if it is the sweat of some random person, or even a chimp, I'm bound to find it more tasty than when I make it myself.

I find the same is also true with coffee. There is something completely satisfying about buying coffee at a cafe, or even from some guy who is completely unqualified to touch a coffe bean; whereas making and drinking one's own coffee is like, what am I, a farmer?
