Hitman's Hero

While my Timothy Olyphant obsession pales in comparrison to my Christian Bale obsession, it is nonetheless strong enough to drive me to see anything that the man is in. Understandably, this undying love of Timmy-poo and Assassin films pretty much makes me unqualfied to pass judgement on this film; nevertheless, I must proclaim, Hitman is AWESOME.

Some have said, the film doesn't make sense. But why should a film have to make sense? Within the first 15 minutes, HItman makes it explicitly clear that no form of cause and effect, or expository devices will be used to justify any of the explosive action. So it is illogical on the part of the viewer to expect logic after the first 15 minutes of the film.

Some have said, Olyphant is miscast. I agree. But he is delightful to watch. Did you see his guns?! Enough said.

By the end of Hitman, I was standing in my seat clapping like a moron, while my little brothers, who actually made me go with them, were completely pissed. I even heard some people mumbling, "wtf, i paid for that?"

But it takes a hero to appreciate such a logicless miscast film. I am that hero.
