SAN FRANCISCO — Amtrak officials say that nearly 400 people are trapped inside two passenger trains that have been stuck all afternoon in the snowy Northern California mountains - DONNER PASS.
If I were on that train, I would be freaking out right now.
By God, I would let no one eat me. I would fashion small tridents out of plastic ware and toothpicks and set them up around me like a moat. And at this point, I would have taken all the salt packets from the dining car and I'd be hording them in my pants, pockets, bra, underwear, whatever so that when the time would arrive that I'd have to start eating other passengers, I would at least get to flavor them with my favorite seasoning.

I think the bigger issue is that 400 people were taking Amtrak.
